I had been having back problems for about three years. In the three years I’ve seen my share of therapists. The last time my back went out I had an appointment to see Amy. At the time I was very stressed and depressed because of my back pain not getting any better so I wasn’t in a very good mood at all for therapy.

At the time, Amy Helminski had no idea of my situation. But when I met Amy she was very kind and friendly, for some reason when that session was over somehow she made me smile and laugh and that made me feel better. In the past three years I haven’t done much smiling or laughing.

So what I want you all to know is if it wasn’t for Amy I probably wouldn’t be here today. Nowadays professionals in the health care are burned out or they just do their job for the money not because they love what they’re doing. I wish there were more people like Amy. Besides doing a wonderful job, Amy is a very caring, compassionate, understanding and sensitive person. Out of all this she some how makes you smile or laugh before you go home. When your body is hurting you need these qualities from people that are taking care of you to show you someone does care.

In the past few months Amy Helminski is the best and greatest person that happened in my life. I wish I knew there was a way to repay someone like Amy Helminski for saving my life. As long as I live I will never, ever forget her. I owe her so much. Amy Helminski is doing an awesome job as a professional physical therapist and also is a wonderful person.

As of July 16 th, I had back surgery and I soon will be going back to Amy for more therapy.

It has been more than sixteen months since I had the good fortune to have been referred to you and your clinic; what a difference you have made in my life!

As you know, I have suffered from chronic neck, back and should pain since being injured in a serious automobile accident a few years ago. You listened attentively to my complaints and persisted until you had discovered the root of my pain. Then, with the utmost professionalism, you executed a well-crafted plan for treatment. Your caring and compassion extended well beyond the doors of the clinic and the words to accurately express my gratitude fail me. Today, I can gladly report that I have enjoyed significant improvement and can once again engage in many of the activities that I thought were lost to me. Thank you!

I was referred to Progressive Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists after being involved in an automobile accident. Being that I had never been to physical therapy before, I didn’t really know what to expect but Amy quickly put my mind at ease. She made sure that she explained everything in a way that I could understand & made me feel like a real person rather than “just another patient”. Throughout the course of my treatment, Amy was extremely dedicated to finding a program that worked for me. If one method didn’t work, she would have an alternative method to try. Not only is she compassionate & caring about her patients but she is extremely knowledgeable in her field. It’s very obvious that she has a strong passion for what she does & I wouldn’t hesitate for minute to refer someone to Progressive for treatment.
